Have seen a few Clio's with tow eyes fitted, and wondered where you can get them from?

The cup ones are like golddust mate! They come up on here now and again but sell for around 40 quid.

or DIY for £13 with a OMP tow eye and 13mm drill. piece of piss but does mean you cant take it out ever again as you'l have no thread for a standard tow eye.

For sure, same for folk who just put the 'tow' sticker on a standard car & they've not even been to a track

Do the normal ones just screw into the original hole then?? And the OMP ones you can buy in the guide area you have to drill??

Sure it wouldnt be hard to fabricate a decent fitting one??

What's the difference in the actual OMP & Renault one?

As you say - find someone to fabricate the OMP one to make it fit the OEM hole & copy it

any engineering company could make a tow eye to fit the original hole, the more you get the cheaper it would be. could get one near to exact copy of the R-sport version.

i could of gone down that route but i had no problem with drilling out the hole and fitting an OMP

would just need to know the thread size and length it would need to be to reach beyond the ph1 and ph2 bumpers. then a ring at the end, but any engineering company could work that last bit out.

take the standard tow eye and a picture of what you want, if you were to have 10 made it would be a hell of a lot cheaper than having 1 - 5 made etc.

in fact, i may even look into having 15 made up at a place we get stuff made up with at work

Sounds good Bomber, could take a few photo's of the Tow-Ring type along with you or get a lend of one from someone on here that's local to you for the purpose of getting it coppied?

Tigger, ive got the original one somewhere so will take it to work on monday with me and have a chat with the guys, get some rough prices together

Wouldn't be that difficult to knock an idea up though surely, but honestly, just a random thought lol. Maybe have a screw in piece, then the flat eye going through the grill and attaching it with some form of pin?

PS: I've got the really std one on mine now... but it really sticks out

i've been looking into gettin some made for ages, i'm meeting with a guy on monday to discuss it (finally pulled my finger out).

If i can get a prototype next week i'll get some pics up and then get a batch made at work if there's enough interest.
