Towing my R1.

  Porsche GT4, Eagle

Has anyone done any towing with their 182?

I am off to Germany for 10 days on my bike with my girlfriend and I think I will need more luggage carrying capacity than the R1 can offer. The Mrs will need some wheels when we get there too.

The bike weighs around 180 kgs.

There isnt an official Renault tow bracket for te 182s so youd need a custom etc one making up. Is there no way of getting the bike in the back of the car?

lol

;)

Get a roof rack and put it on top. Upside down so the wheel goes round as you go. It works for push bikes!

1st - get the wifey an R6 - Easy to handle ect...

2nd - get bike panniers (sp) on both bikes! evan tho they dont look good, they do the job!

3rd - get decent size backpacks

4th - go away!

I see.

Like the R6 idea but I would not trust her blatting round the Ring on that. And she would slow me down!

Hmmm. Thinking cap still on.
