Tracking

Ok I'm on 195/50/15's.

Was told there'd be no point me getting my car tracked as I'm on aftermarket wheel/tyre sizes.

If I got 185/55/15's would I then be able to get the tracking sorted?

You'll be able to get the tracking done regardless of what wheels tyres you've got...whoever told you otherwsie should be slapped on sight!

It's through laser alignment or whatever.

Was told that the specifications on the computer would be different to what's on the car, so the tracking would be better off being left alone.

Thats a load of cobblers. Take it to another garage.
I've had more luck with dack street garages doing tracking with "cheap" tracking stuff than Renault have had with there digital tracking setup.
Plus at £35 a time its a lot cheaper.

Yeah thats a crock of s**t mate, Ive had mine done on 195/50/15 and it doesnt really make any difference!

Tbh they don't feel properly aligned to me, one wheel feels very light at times.
