Tranfer of suspension

I have got a 1.2 16v clio nd gettin a 1.6 16v was wondering if the suspension of ma 1.2 will got straight on to the 1.6?

was told the spacin between the strut bolts r differnt?

Some early 1.2 16V Mk2 2 cars used the 52mm. The 1.6 have always used the 58mm hubs. Best way is to check the suspension you need to measure the distance between the centers of te two bolts holding the hub to the shock.

The 1.6 is a heavier engine so some kits are suited as the 1.6 needs different springs rates.

When u geting the k4m euan? if u hold of 6 months i'll give you mine...

the 1.6 flange is also different thickness, it's 27/28mm as where on the 1.2 it's 23mm.
