Trip Computer Not Working

Have just had my car back from renault. It has had a new Injection Computer and new ECU wiring. Total cost £894.27, livid.

Neway, my trip computer is now not working properly, it wont display my MPG, Gallons since filling up or the miles left with current petrol.

Instead there are lines going accross and they flash.

I am wondering if this is in any connection to the work done, if not what is the likely cause and solution.

My car is a 51reg 1.2 16v dynamique.

How many miles have you done since picking it up?

was on 36k when i bouth it in Nov 2006, its now on 51K

He means since the works been done. Doesn't matter anyway as they'll only read dashes for 1 mile after resetting and it shouldn't flash unless somethings wrong.

Take it back and get them to sort it, it'll be related they will have forgotten to initialise something. Or set the ECU up for a none trip computer car will be where my money is.
