trouble mac messenger

anyone else having trouble signing into messenger. mine hasn't been able to connect for about 2 weeks tried all the different versions still no luck, just wondered if i was the only one?

Nah works for me, try adium.

mine logs in fine but randomly disconnects and re-signs in every now and then which doesnt happen on my pc (same internet connection and the macbook using wired lan) tried the latest version the other day but still the same, thinks i'll give adium a shot

Mac Messenger is awful.
Adium is, probably, one of my favourite applications ever designed and programmed, so use that (www.adiumx.com). It's the *perfect* example of a polished and functional application.
