tv problem

i turned my tv on this morning and in all four corners there is like a purple blur....it wasnt like that last night when i turned it off???any1 any ideas what would cause this and if its fixable as its only bout 18 months old and cost me £500

Hmmm not sure why that would happen suddenly, any speakers or anything near it? You might want to try degaussing it. See if you can borrow a degaussing wand from someone.

there are speakers on a shelf above it....but they have ben there since ive owned the tv and never had problem b4 like i say was only like it when i turned it on this morning.....whats a degaussing wand??

Have you tried unplugging it from the wall socket for a few minutes to see if it re-sets itself, also try the manufacturesre website for any FAQ's and maybe a telly forum.

i turned it off for a day then when i turned it back on every thing seems fine for now.shame was going to be an excuse to buy a lcd hdtv
