TV's at Costco

  Chelsea tractor
Has anyone been to Costco recently and seen the price of LCD TV's there? Specifically 26" to 32" tops.

I haven't got a chance to have a look until the weekend and just wanted to do some research to see if it's worth popping over.

Cheers :)

The ones I've seen were consistently more expensive than anything I could get on the net. In the words of my father however "It's better to get it from a shop though for when it breaks and you have to take it back"

You get cynical as you get older you see. lol.

Aah cheers guys, if they're not that much cheaper then probabaly won't pop over :)

Looking at an about an LG type level TV for an absolute maximum of £400 really

Costco is great with their exchanges though

My parents bought a Video recorder a few years back for about £130.. It broke in the 11th month and I took it back in the hope that they would fix it.

Queued up in the CS counter and told them what happened and she asked me to sign this form.. Thinking it was the signing over form for sending off she then proceeded to give me a full refund... she then said "just pick another one up off the shelf and buy another"

So i went over to pick one up from the shelf and the same exact model was now £79.99. Bargain! Pocketed 50 quid and gave a brand new Video back to my parents.. You can't say fairer than that!!!

Factor in a 3 year warranty from Costco and the fact that their return/replacement policy on the warranty's very favourable, then it does look worth doing.

Same argument (for some) for buying from John Lewis or somewhere like Fenwick if you've got the choice.

Yep.. i would only buy TV`s from either John Lewis or Costco.. Ive got a luvely 55incher from John Lewis last year (oo-er missus).

Only snag with Costco is

a) You need to be a member (not really a prob for most),
b) They dont accept credit card!! just cash or switch!!!
c) no delivery.. you gotta pick it up yourself.. impossible if you only have 172 and and want a large Rear-Proj like i did.
