Can anyone explain to me what these are and what they do? Im looking at getting an ae86, and I have been told it has twin webers....

There carburetors. Fuel enters the bowl and is then supplied by a vacuum and jets. Need to be setup manually

Modern itbs are supplied via injectors and controlled by the ecu

I love webbers they dont half drink fuel mind, saying that it depeneds how they have been setup. No laptops involved here just good old fashion manual labour

Only thing thats ever made my eyes sting in our dyno cell (which has mega hardcore extraction) was a old Lancia on twin 45's - huge jets and decel overun = massive amounts of unburnt fuel!

aye as above. i went to look at a couple of delta integrales there, they were ruff as fuk, advertised as mint. they wouldnt let you take them for a test drive until youd bought it. and they offered me £1500 for the williams. which was mint


steer clear. they are usually cars that they have had their brothercousins runnin round in delivering.


gotta love the webers tho.....lol@ standardish itb s ............. had some on the mini...after id taken the niki off.....went loads better

^^^^^^^^ got it in one..........hence the brothercousin delivery rides too...............a lot of smack dealers/deliverers will have used their cars, its easier for them if they have a selection of cars to choose from, keeps the cops on their toes and confuses em......which isnt too hard now lets be honest lol
