I know this may have been asked before. But if you got two new three, would you put them front or back. I would say new on the front cos more grip fir a fwd car. But have heard some people mention new on the rears.
Any advice would be great.
Always put new tyres on the rear , move the older tyres to the front . If you have tyres with very little grip on the rear and had to break hard especially in the wet the rear of the car will want to overtake the front end as there is little or no grip .
Plus the bonus of doing it this way is you prolong the interval that you renew your tyres .
my mate wrote his golf off by putting 2 new decent tyres on the front while running 2 budget rubbish on the rear. Agreed golfs aren't renowned for there handling to say the least however the bend he did it on I could of put another 10mph on his speed in the wet and have no dramas at all. Rear all the way for me unless your a really talented driver
