Undoing speedo cable

How do you unplug it from the back of the instrument panel?

There is a big white plastic plug which I have tried twisting and pulling but it wont come off.

Any ideas?

Ps - car is a 19 16v but I would have thought same as clio valver

squeeze it and pull back there is a bit of a knack to it there should be like a raised bit either side to do this.

I think I know what you mean, problem is there is hardly any room.

Think I should be able to grab it with some long nosed pliers.

So I just squeeze the sides in and pull like a b*****d?

just squeeze baby its tight but should come off and unplug the wires
