Updating Phone Software?

On my N73, im trying to update the phone software, I have the phone connected to the pc using a bluetooth adapter but... when it comes to the "software update" bit, it cant find the phone!!!!

Any ideas?

To use the nokia software updater you need to have it connected via cable.

No Wifi on the N73 and FOTA would take an age and cost a lot to download the firmware over 3G.
