Using a Spyder 2 Express with MacBook Pro?

Evening Guys,

Does anybody here calibrate there screens on there MacBooks/MacBook Pro's with the Spyder Calibrators? I have read that it doesn't work well with backlit LCDs etc just wondered if anyone has had any problems?

I did it with one borrowed from work.

It had a very cool white balance, white seemed orange after lol as I was so used to a bluey white.

I have had mine calibrated since i have had it but I had some prints printed by DSCL and the colours aren't that great. Seriously miss my iCorrect PictoColor
