v6 recall

Regarding the recall on the clio v6, i havent had mine done yet,does the car feel any different to drive after?

something in the ecu has to be reprogrammed,supposed to be a two hour job.

Havent heard anything but according to Renault I still own a MK1 V6, so if there is a major recall consider me dead.

Did you have a mk1 V before you had the mk2 mate?

Yes. My reg is the same as the MK1 . Everytime I call them I assure them I own a MK2.

Where did we find out about the recall and is it only for the Mk2?

Fuel. Didnt make any difference to mine at all. Was good before, good after. And they cleaned it

James you got your about the same time as me, i was told that my car didnt need the update as it should of already been sorted at the factory.

didnt appear any different, as Mike says, wonderful before, wonderful after.

i wouldnt wanna take my car into reno again if nothing is really changed in fear of them screwing the car up and causing another fault (as usual!)

Mines booked in for this Saturday. After reading various horror stories about Renault test pilots and given that it should only take 2 hours, Ive told them Ill be wanting a "while you wait" service...with me waiting in the showroom!
