i ihad some steel valve caps and they got stuck on during the winter, i tried with pliers , everything - couldnt get them off, had to have new valves , bloke in the garage told me to never put them on again........ and i havent lol
my theory is if they are locked on then they will damage your wheels tryin to get them off - best bet is fins some cheap ones you like and buy a few sets ready for when they get nicked!
I believe you can get Richrbrook ones that screw on but you need a key to undo it. The outside of the valves just spins round so you can't undo it by hand!!
I used to have these too, just make sure you WD40 em before you put em on, there is a grub screw that locks em in place.
got a set of locking ones on my current car... allegedly anti theft and 1 got nicked, how? i'd like to know! were from halfrauds so maybe a pack of cr£p
plus you need the special type of key blablabla waste of ££££
