Video to DVD

Basically i've got a couple of videos and want to convert them to then burn onto disk and be able to play in a dvd player.
How would i go about this?

Is it possible to make a dvd with all the episodes on it, i use nero and it only lets me put say one film on a normal dvd, so im guessing i can stick only 2 episodes on a normal dvd.

I got lost season 1,which is a copied version and works on my dvd player. Has usually four episodes on each disk (7 disks, including a bonus one)

You can use nero but you will need the latest version Nero 7

Nero Vision Express will do it for you, and can also compress the vids to get more on. I put 6 episodes on 3 discs and 7 on another, and the quality was still pretty good.
