just set this up through my broadband, got the BT comunicator programme installed. anyone know how much voice calls cost through it? are they the same as normal call? i cant seem to find costs anywhere.

VoIP calls from PC to PC are free.

VoIP calls from PC to landline/mobile depend on the provider.

i had an IP handset at work for a while (I2004) but people complained about the quality sometimes so i change back to digital

Yea, the BT VoIP service isn't any better than their normal service I don't think?

I used to have a Cisco phone (7960G) - the ones they had in the 24 series - and the sound quality was perfect.

I used it on www.sipgate.co.uk !
