Wales 2020 weekend

As some of you may know,a small group of us from the forum did a Wales weekend last year.Which was an awesome weekend,we did this weekend again this year with an extra night.Good weekend again but found the roads so much more busier prob down to C19,we feel like we have done Wales now & moving on to a bigger trip next year to Scotland.

Also (touch wood) we had no problems with the clios,even Alex's 250👍🏻

No mate its on Elan Valley

We were in Elan Valley a few weeks a go checking out the reservoirs, such a beautiful place. Got caught out and stranded in a flash flood around there which was scary.

We came to the bottom of this road and it was a trickle, this was half way up. No turning back...



Once we got to the top, you can see where all the water was coming from, scary stuff with the missus being 6 months pregnant, cant imagine what would have happened if the car stalled, the Mondeo derv done us proud that day!

We had good weather again thankfully, only Sunday morning was a bit rainy but that soon blew past. Meeting a tractor on a single track b road was a good brake test!

And the Rolls Royce roadblock blighting the reservoir roads.

We stayed at a YHA in brecons & Swallow Falls in Snowdonia mate.
