Wanting to jump out of gear

My car is nearly at the 80k mark and although it never jumps out of gear sometimes in 2nd as i go to change gear i feel as if it wants to jump out of gear, does that make sense?? is it a problem i can expect to gradually get worse and eventually pop out of gear?

Mine did that. and i needed a new box. But Renault warned me 6 months before that i had a small leak comin from the box, so get the gearbox oil checked. Mine started jumpin outta 5th! Which is unusual to say the least. Then 4th, then 3rd. and on the way to the garage it hopped outta 2nd. Worrying really!!

Like i said though it never jumps out of gear it just that i put the clutch down and as i move it out of second gear it seems like it moves a little on its own as if it would want to jump out 2nd.(with the clutch down)

When i bought the car i did a little test, driving quite hard in 2nd then ease off and straight back on the gas and see if it jumps out which it never did and i can still do the same now and its fine. I can feel it move through my hand as i change gear.

Hope it aint nothing like that i was hoping it would just be something little??

How do i check the gearbox oil?

could just be worn dog-bone engine mount making the engine move excessivlely or the linkage may need adjusting

check gearbox oil -if uve got an induction kit its dead easy look down on front of the box and u will see a plastic plug think its white unscrew this and stick your finger in the hole the oil should come level with the bottom of the hole

if uve got an airbox u mite hav to remove it to get in not sure though
