Warning when lowering!

How about this for having a senior moment!

Quite a while back I got my car lowered 35mm, when I picked it up from the garage it looked great and drove even better....I cruised home and approached the driveway only to hear a load scraping sound from underneath the car as I mounted the driveway!!! When I got out I noticed Id bottomed out on the drive and ripped part of my exhaust off.....What a dork, Id forgotten to check if my car would fit on the drive after being lowered....Me and my old man spent last weekend relaying the flags (back breaking work) and costly!

Moral of the story is "Check the clearance on your drive before slamming your car!" I suppose I did get a nice shiney Magnex out of it though!

Your lucky man..my ol man would have said...

"Boouuy..If my driveway isnt how i left it, ur dead!"

I didnt affect my cos my bro had already sorted out our driveway when he bought his Escort Cosworth. The splitter on them things are soooooo low!
