Warranty

My clio 182's 3 yr warranty is up at the beginning of December, I recieved a letter from Ranault asking if I wanted to extend my warranty but decided against it, but now thinking about doing it, so does anyone have the letter which they send out with a number on it, or does anyone know how I go about extending it and for how much. Ive rung my 2 local Reno garages and none of them have got back to me

i had a letter from renault asking if i wanted to extend my warranty for one year and it was just shy of 500 quid.

i then got my local dealer to extend my warranty because i had only had the car a few months. but that warranty was only with that dealer. unike the national renault one for 500

  Whichever has fuel
The proper renault one is bullet proof. The dealer supplied ones are 50% bullet proof.

^ I am but he's asked me to look into the price for the extended warranty.

So its better to go for the reno one then

Do the deal & let him sort out the extended warranty, he'll still be able to do it as long as he does it by the time it's 3 years old.

Do what I did.

Bank the £500 you'd spend on a warranty and save it in case it goes wrong.

Hopefully you'll still have money left after a year.

Chris that is a superb idea. :)

Unless of course he has more than £500 worth of repairs to make, which is highly unlikely. :)

Its easy to get big bills. particulty on a dci injectors are £200 each an the pumps £300 excludin fitment which in the case of the injectros has to be programmed into the ECU by a Renault caomputer.
