can sum1 jus tell me please wot they do about their warranty iv had my clio 2 weeks but i wana do a lot 2 it. Has any1 else dun nethin 2 their clio at this age? thanx

i had a chat with my dealer he said, if i did anything more than change the backbox on the exhaust then it would void the warranty. so i changed the backbox. after a year i nearly said bugger it and do some mods, but glad i didnt as the ecu naffed up, sunroof, yada yada!!

you could change wheels and suspension for example, but change it back to original when it comes round to wanting some warranty work done. but then they are bound to realise with the bolts and stuff being used.

c my dealer sed i cud change the wheels and suspension and air filter, exhaust etc, but i had 2 put it bk 2 standard only if i woz handin the car bk at the end of the agreement. He sed the warranty is only mechanical and electrical so as long as i can change things bk for that its ok. jus wanted 2 know wot other dealers r like.

my dealer wont allow nothing!! that aint fair! he said if you put different wheels on it then it will affect the suspension, bakes and wheel bearings so we will void your warranty.

should have got mine from your dealer!

speak to your dealer about it before you do anything, then, if they say they wont honour the warranty, tell them you will take you business elsewhere

watch them change their minds

i done this to my dealer, they then wanted details of the company who i bought the goods off as they liked them so much

didnt give it to them though
