Nope. Its chris, I'm a newbe i'v only just bought my 182 around a month ago. fitted the new brakes a week or 2 ago.

Thanks. Just need to do the other side tomorrow. I started off with cleaning the engine bay the other day and was quite pleased with that so the arches seemed like the next thing to do when bored.

just out of intrest mate - what did you use/do to get results like that?

I hosed the arch, then sprayed everywhere with Autoglym Engine and Machien Cleaner, then got a sponge and did a bit of scrubbing, then washed off with hose.
Had to do that 2 maybe 3 times to get it really clean.

Did the same to the engine but i was a bit more carefull.

Its not the cleanest engine out there but its better than it was

Oooops no, i meant to say i used the engine cleaner. I carefully spraied the stuff on and toothbrushed it a little then got a damp sponge to get the dirt and stuff off.
Didnt use the hose lol.

Thought you could use hose / washer on an engine but {a} just have to leave it running {b} not so much on the ellectrics, is that not the case then??
