I know you can watch BBC news online but what other channels are about??

and noticed they have a cool thing to add it into your Vista sidebar.

Now Im not on Vista so is there anything decent for XP that is similar?? I.e to have it down into the taskbar?

How bloody weird is that Tv Catchup place??

Reckon I cant watch it here at work as my ISP (Tiscali) isn't supported. registered last night at home but and it was fine (with BT at home)

And now i've made an account I can log in and watch from work??!! Illogical or what??!!

Tv is very much a grey area when it comes to downloading it, especially now they are letting you watch a lot of it.

Using torrents i download programs from the internet. Mainly american tv.

Not really a grey area, if it's streamed content you need a TV license as that's classed as a broadcast, if you download it to your hard drive to watch it you don't.

Obviously if you've downloaded a program illegaly that's still illegal.

Yeah seems strange, once you're registered you can pretty much watch it anywhere.

Sorry I can't see what this has to do with what I was after (thats not an arsey comment just so you know!)

I was after something to watch things like Setanta news etc online (which the link SC03OTT gave above was good for.
