Ways of getting digital GPS mph read-out

Just been thinking about this today, what is the easiest and cheapest way of getting a digital GPS speed-read out in your car? Im assuming no products just do this one task, so Im thinking it would have to be a GPS "black-spot" detector or Sat-Nav system that gives you a speed read-out anyway.

  1.8 Civic EX

Im interested to find this out too. since I changed my dials Im sure mine are out slightly! good call ukaskew!

Easiest is: Buy a Road Angel

Cheapest is: Trust your speedo.

Best way is: Buy a Road Angel

The price of equipment like the RA has no relation to the cost of the technology, Id be suprised if it was costing them £30 a unit. The important part of their technology is their database of cameras.

You could certainly make your own gps based speedo device for under £60.

So in theory someone could knock out a nice LCD display with a GPS verified nice big clear speed reading on it for less than £50, as databases etc wouldnt be an issue. Surely there has to be a market for that?!
