What Brake fluid and where from ??

I'm looking to get some decent brake fluid. Car will be used on track once a month and a few small A-B journeys.

I've looked and searched around a lot but just cannot find a straight answer as to which is best. There seems to be so much choice!

So what brake fluid is the best? (for track use mainly)

Any opinions welcome..

Dot 5.1 should be best IMO, that's whats in mine and it's more than adequate. Occassional track use but daily commute. Full racing fluid needs changing more often and is really overkill for occassional track use in a Clio.

Go for 1 1/2 to 2 litres then you'll have some spare, it's always handy to have some spare on the trackday.

HOW MUCH!!!!!! wow I struggle to use up a whole litre on one car

I agree on having a bit spare. How much does the car actually take?

A litre is more than enough.

I meant if you're buying it in 500ml or 1 litre bottles and then to have a bit spare then you'd need those quantities but hey ho.
