What causes this?

Since upgrading to Mountain Lion when I write text in email, forms and forums, large sections blank out hiding buttons. Text flashing on and off and hides itself. Really odd and really annoying. This is the best example I can show you.

Any ideas?

Mine is on all websites. I use Safari. Numerous restarts. Nothing helps.

With me it's like it can't catch up, if that makes sense?

Open Facebook in landscape and you get the chat bar on the left and then in the middle of the screen another partition line as if there's another chat bar supposed to be there.

The problems with chrome could be due to it being a bit slow anyway

Try using a different browser, I have noticed the new version of safari (running on lion) is causing havoc with a fair few websites as it interpretes style sheets differently than the previous versions.

No issues here running Chrome.
