What compares to the 1*2 (under 5k) for performance and the like?

I was looking at a re-mapped ibiza tdi sport earlier...apparently 170bhp with 300lbs of torque.

How would that compare to the 172?

170bhp in a Diesel Ibiza is gonna shift, In a straight line the diesel would have the upper hand I think its fair to say, throw in a few roundabouts and a few country lanes and its bye bye Ibiza.

Speak to Ally hes got one mapped and is on about getting coilovers in a thread in Other Marques at the bottom.

Actually, 200SX too.

Saying that, running costs are a bit more than a 1*2 but if you learn how to drive RWD properly then theres no doubt in my mind it wouldn't keep up with one in the twisties.
