What do you reckon

Just thinking that i might put my standard wheels back on my car for the winter months, so that my nice alloys dont get wrecked with all the salt and sh*t put out on the roads.

What do you reckon, worth it or not??

I think it would be a wise idea mate especially if you dont want them covered in the Autumn/Winter road sh*t.

Why dont you just wax them every few weeks and keep them clean?

Why pay all that hard earned only to have a set of alloys sat in the garage where nobody can see? As long as you wash the salt off regularly then they wont come to any harm. I have had alloys on my car through every winter I have owned a car and they have not been damaged by the grime.

  Weeman sucks ****

I never see the point in this, winter is only water and mud. In the summer the brake dust gets hammered in cos of the heat, not to mention the tar blobs aswell.
