What does a 15" Pro Race 1.2 & tyre weigh?

  172DD Cup
ok, didn't know that would make a difference, figured they would all weigh around the same. short answer= i don't know. i'm trying to arrange a courier to pick them up. seller tells me they weigh 6.9kgs each, but he's obviously gone on the internet and got the bare alloy weight. i've gone back to him, but not sure if i'll get an answer quick enough to arrange courier for tomorrow.

id go with roughly 12kg a wheel.. the cheapest way to get wheels sent via courier is by sending them as 2 parcels.. iv sent wheels before and it cost about £40 as 2 parcels and abut £70 as one!

paisleyfeight is the best for wheels , £25 collected and delivered on a next day , you dont need weight either , they only charged me £45 for a interior on a pallet

12kg? that makes the tyres 5kg each, i'd be surprised if they were that, but i've been surprised before, like when my mate used his knob to tap me on the shoulder

** just done a quick quote as im bored.. and £11.90 plus vat for 2 parcels that weigh 30kg each so 15kg per wheel

cheers all, i think paisley is winning this one. two parcels come out only about 40p cheaper than paisley. paisley also offer £10 insurance per kg, so 50-60kgs is plenty of cover

cool.
any suggestions for sourcing some 195/50/15?
most places seem to be just under £50 a corner fitted. seems alot. last time i bought tyres that size they were around £30 a corner! for toyos too.

i've got an option to get hold of some team dynamic tornados in white with 195/50/15 for £180 delivered. they've got nearly new pirellis on them. plan would be to swap the tyres onto my pro races, at a cost that i would hope to be less than £40, then sell the tornados on here. good looking wheels, a love child between the turini and the pro-race 1.2, just too small in that colour

I'm pretty sure pro race's are 5.7kg in 15''
That's just from memory from when was looking at buying some, but it's very close to that.

Team Dynamics Pro race 1.2 in 7x15" et15 - 45 from 6.1kg from the demon tweeks motorsport catalogue.

well, booked with paisley freight who according to their website attempted delivery today at 12:19 and dropped me a card, but there was no attempt made and no card. did they knock off early for the easter weekend i wonder...?
according to their t&c's there is a £6 charge for redelivery. oh dear, this is going to be more hassle than it's worth :(

there is no recharge for delivery , only if they have been twice , go down to your local city link and collect them , they are open till late , the paisley freight tracking number will be the citylink number , the city link driver more than likely couldnt be ass'd to deliver them , i work for citylink in gloucester and they are really strict on what goes on there , should be the same with all depots , tell them he has fake carded your address and make sure you speak to the head cutylink office as they will more than likely give your local city link a roasting

had a pic of the front door though. actually the letterbox and the number. i'm sure he wouldn't come right upto my door and not knock.

anyway, i just got back from picking them up from citylink and they're nice and shiny :)

just need to get some taller tyres on them now (currently 195/45/15)
