by the gearstick there is a red light that keeps flashing. im guessing is this an immobilizer? my clio is a mark1 1.2 p reg clio - no remote locking or anything! please help cus i just want to know what it is.

I dont have one on mine. I have a P reg 1.4 RT, and have "remote" central locking with engine immobiliser.
