If it is a one-way valve, is it opening one way but not the other?

Can you blow through it in both directions?

Its a vac feed to the acoustic valve on the inner wing. Certainly cant see it being the cause of unstable idle. Has it had a cambelt recently? Belt timing is probably the biggest cause of unstable idling.
