Have no idea what it is, looks like it can soak up oil and fluids. Would be nice to have..

Think I found it, epdm granules flooring. Sort of thing used in playgrounds and gyms.

If this flooring was breathable which from research it can be, It would be useful for disassembling steering racks/calipers/suspension etc, where you have some left over oil and want a soft surface to move and rest parts on.

Just an idea, I dont know what they in the pictures (bilstein) use it for!

Nothing a couple cans of brake clean cant solve
