In the 172, there was 2 models.

172, which is just hte normal one really, known as ff on here. So got all the luxuries. Leather/AC/xenons. That sort of jazz.

The Cup has no xenons and ac, pikey interior but weighs less and is more track focused really.

They did 2 models a Cup and a normal 172.
The normal one had half leather xenon headlights, cruise control (opition)
The Cup was designed for the track Had a ligher roof thiner glass lighter wheels less soundproofing and no ABS and fabric covered seats.
So the normal one gain the name FF Full Fat

fair enough then, thanks for that. ive noticed on some models theres an xtra bit of rubber on the bottom of the standard bumper which mine doesnt have. is their any reason for that?

Its a splitter, which only came on the 172 cups. It then came out as an option for the later 182's, and can be purchased from renault. Most people retrofit it as it looks flllyyyyyy boooy!

Not cheap though... about £130ish.

The splitter you refer to was introduced on the 172 Cup's. Now it is pretty much standard throughout the 172/182 range though due to people retro-fitting them :)

Although it is standard on a 182 Cup and a 182 with Cup packs.

That bit of rubber or splitter was only given to the Cup model from the factory, can be fitted if you want one though.

£130from Renault or £100 from K-Tec.
