what size aloys 16's or 17's

i have a mk1 clio and i know i can get the 16's on know prob but i have been told 17's will go on with some body mods but others say no body mods can any 1 help!!!!!!

dont bother with 17s mate it will look rubbish!!

go for 16s with a 195 40 16 tyre and deck it!!

my car rolls on 17's, and it looks sweet, but really i could do with bigger brakes, rear discs andother expense, and my fuel economy died lol. im considering some nice 16's when the tyres wear.

I agree, i'm not very keen on 17'' wheels on Clios :dapprove:

I have a set of each. Difference? not much really. I f it was on atrack or something then maybe. Maybe a very slightly harder ride but only noticeable on pap roads.

hes talking about mk1's not mk2's

17's look much better on the ph2's but i would still go for 16's personally!!
