what to do b4 moding a carr

Hey peeps,

I rememder reading a while back and article on how to prepair your car before you do and engine mods. It covered stuff like getting it serviced and what to check and do before you start.

Now I could have sworn I read it on this site but I have looked everywhere and cant find it. Does anyone knoe of the article im talking about, or a similar one? Could you please post the link.
