Im thinking of buying a clio 172, but not sure whether to buy a second hand one for around £8500, preferably with a years warranty or so left. Or buy a imported 182? Will be running the car for about two years, do you think itll be more worth while buying the new car? or saving the money in the first place and using that to keep the 172 sorted?

What sort of problems are you looking at on a 2 year old car in good condition? You think itll be exspensive to keep on the road.

The less you spend on a car the less its likly to loose.

Id say try them both and go with the one you like but if there no particular car you drift towards then buy the older 172 than a 182 youll save more money.

welcome to Cliosport mate - depends what youre after really. Theres nothing nicer than getting a brand new car, but eddes right, youll lose a lot less on one thats a couple of years old.

got my import 02 plate with 30k on it for £7700 i thought that was a good price keep it for 2more yrs sell for 6k or so with 60k on clock havent lost alot and had alot of fun
