What to do....

I dont know what to do so help me out! Should be starting a new job in the next few months when Ive done all the training required (cough **copper** cough...) so Ill have more pennies to play with for my car - the thing is its looking a bit untidy at the moment - needs a bumper respray, tiny bit of rust on the pillar to fix, recon the alloys and about £300 of maintenance - I reckoned on about £1,000 for perfection.

Still havnt finished paying the loan on it yet so...

1. Keep the car as it is then sell it when I have more moolah from the job to get a newer car (Cups and CTRs appeal at the moment)..

2. Keep the car and do the required work (the £300) and continue paying the loan that i took out for it...

3. Keep the car do the whole shebang and have myself a lovely mint valver that the girlfriend could have at a later point...

4. Sell it as it is, pay off some of the loan I have (8k by the way!) and get myself into sh*t loads of debt that hopefully I can sort out when I get my new job!..

Please note I dont like number 4.

Number 3 does appeal as I think it looks the b****cks on the drive as it is! but I crave something faster.. I welcome all opinions!

I do like the car, Love the looks, dash (better than new clios still in my opinion), sound its my own fault for having a bash in a cup the other month.. Id love more power but the price it comes at isnt justifiable to me and holds very little resale value!

what to do.. what to do...

Cheers.. hope its as good as ive been hearing in thas plod..

Option 2 or 3 getting out of dept by not having a car isnt a good idea IMO. Better to keep things how they are buying a new car will just mean even bigger debts and whos to know that you will like the new job and your stuck in it to pay your debts. Best keep your options open who wants to be stuck doing something they dislike just to keep paying the bills.
