Hey everyone!
This is the classic "I have these mods on the way, what should I expect?" thread. Answers much appreciated, as I guess this type of threads can become tiring at some point for the forum regulars
Here goes the list of mods (172 MK2):
Group N remap from Upsolute.com (done a long time ago)
Cat cams 428
Pipercross Viper CAI
Ktec decat
Ktec cat back
Ktec lightweight flywheel
I will probably redo the software tuning on a RR, as the current one it's antique.
Now, time for some questions:
1. What could I get in the end, as power? Something like 190 BHP at the flywheel sounds doable?
2. Is it worth matching the inlets?
3. Is it worth getting a bigger throttle body (I know a guy who adapted one from a BMW 325, for instance).
4. If answer to 3 is yes, are there any standard solutions for a bigger throttle body, other than adapting one from another car
5. Would the 182 manifold help a lot? I hear the 4-2-1 setup helps with mid-range smoothness, but 4-1 gives more top power.
Not relevant to the thread, but just to give the complete image, the car also has:
Koni adjustables
Quaife ATB
Eibach Proline springs
15" Superleggera rims w/ Goodyear Eagle F1 tires
Thanks a lot for bearing with me!
