im goin to look at a clio later for my mate its a 1.6 8v si on t plate with 70k (ish) on the clock what do i need to look 4 thanks alot

Check electrics stops and goers in a straight line etc.

Just normal stuff realy.

Check service history for cam belt and aux belts (iirc there are 2 aux belts on that car).

I had that car exactly. Not too bad.

Check it's had the belts and he has receipts for them (if not barter that off the asking).
You might find a CD changer under the passenger seat (i did, and the dealer didnt know about it).
ABS is sometimes an issue but no more than other Mk2 Ph1s
Nothing in particular to look out for tbh, just drive it and make sure that you (or the owner) gives it an emergency stop
