What would look good

I've got up to around £250 to spend, and want some alloys that'll look good on my car

Anyone got any ideas on what'd look good?

I'd go for 15" dynamique (the later mini 172 style ones)

2nd hand 172 alloys i would go for!!

you may be able to get some halfords ripspeed ones out the bargin bin for that but just depends on what you want your car to look like and if your gonna continue to mod it or not

go 4 16s mate, 17s just get 2 fking annoying on pot holes etc.

dont get any agressive looking ones, dont suit the bubly look of the clio, something with a lot of spokes always looks good on clios, 5 spokes no-no aswell, all IMO of course

get 16s, much better looking and less tyrewalla flex than 15s - btr handling.

unless you can find some wide 15's and then deck it 60mm!!

Cheers dick, i'll bear that in mind. I agree with you that anything "aggressive" doesnt work, and that something like turinis look brilliant, but i have to disagree bout 5 spokes - the 172 ones look good
I'd love some 182 alloys but they're stupid money

They have no tyres though.

I would say TSW Heat look alright and if you have a look on ebay you should be able to find something. If you can get some TSW Catalunya's on ebay or stretch to how much they are they really do look nice.

We all know the best wheels on Clio's are Turini's, Pro Race 1.2s and OZ Ultra/Superleggeras.
