Whats This Bolt Pattern?

After a bit of looking around, it looks like a RIBE / Polydrive head. But, I can only seem to find those types in male tools, where I need a female one.

Does anyone know what the pattern is? And where I can get a tool...

Did Renault borrow this design from Nissan Jord? As google suggests torx plus is something Nissan used in flywheel applications.

That looks similar again yeah. Everything seems to be male tools again though, rather than the female version I would need for the bolt!

You've got to have big balls to do that to something which prevents valves from meeting pistons.

Doesn't look like e-torx to me in the slightest, far bigger flats on it. Does look like RIBE but I can't find an external socket for them either.

No worries, ive been informed the easiest way to get them out is to tack a bolt onto the back of them with the welder, then undo and replace with proper headed 8.8 bolts.

^ What he says. Snap-On, Facom and various others do E-Ribe sockets. Can get them on e-bay if required.

http://www.uktools.com/ Search Koken EPL sockets External torx plus ehardware on line sells some external JTC ribe sockets but I think you have external torx plus. Ribe has a flat end torx plus slightly rounded end.
