i had the same thing to decide, in the end i bought the t1-rs because they are very good in the wet and look wicked and are 25% cheaper than f1s which were my other choice. whatever you decide buy them from mytyres.co.uk cheapest you can get, but you do need to take them somewere to get valved and balenced= £5-10. but still cheapest even after that!!! hope this helps

yeah used my tyres before and bought pe2s (in my opinion over rated) took the plunge and went for t1rs only because they had a lower wear rate then the f1s

Are eagles any good in the snow? Always used steelies over the winter so dont really know!

no tyre is good in the snow unless its proper winter tyres ie got spikes or snow chains

Not entirely true, alot is down to rubber compound and treadwidth. There are lots of snow tyres around which dont have spikes.
