On a nice little section of country road i know quite well, hit a dip while easing off a little bit too hard. Lost the back end and it flew off into the verge and went bang!

if no one was injured in the accident either as a passenger in your car or in any other car a good solicitor will get that charge dropped

sorry to see it mate, glad you are ok tho and hope the insurance and police hassle gets sorted out with the minimal penalty. not good im sure weve all pushed hard on a country road that we know and this serves as a reminder that no matter how well we know our cars or the road you can still get caught out, sobering thought. hope you get it all sorted tho mate

Dont worry about it mate - sure it will all be fine in the end. Glad to hear you are fine. Not as lucky as the fella that my collegues and I attended to the other morning when he rolled his 03 CTR into some trees. Came out alive - but only just. His car was not as bad as yours mate. Think yourself lucky - in that respect.

The engine looks intact - can you salvage any bits from it? maybe keep the engine and put it in a 16v or something?

I know what you mean about the tail being frisky at those speeds, did it slide when the tail broke away or flip?

You dont do things by half do ya.

If you were dead or hospitalised that would be worse so look on the positive side.

Shows the strengh of the car how would a lighter car have survived ie Nova / Saxo.

I cannot see they bothering charging you with dangerous driving its to much effort to prove. There just trying to scare you so you will telll others to be more careful.

Rear end its typical for the clio I did the same. Im goingto be putting some bricks in the back of mine.

Glad to hear you are ok thats the most important thing, but not wishing to point any fingers here (people in glass houses and all that!) but if you are done for smashing up a 172 becouse of Dangerous Driving .....*****dont shoot me for saying****** but youve just put up the insurance premiums for the rest of us coz you had to prove a point by racing.....
