New to detailing but I really want to give the car a treat before FCS - apart from washing, polishing and washing Ive never done anything else to it.

Any recommendations - I tried clicking on the guide in the Detailing forum but the page just expired.

Stop whoring yourself out Luke ;)

As that man has said, Laura, only way to getting looking special is to have a full detail. This will not just be good for FCS, but for the rest of this year and well into the next.

im sure if you were to pm a few people off here they would give you a price to do it for you.

if you wanna do it yourself your looking at 250+ for all the kit.

No point in doing it yourself Laura. I would get someone who is close geographically to do it.

Like Luke.

Do you know the names of said people that offer said service Luke???

TBH, Just hit it with a cost of SRP and a wax. You'll be up against some MINT lookin cars on the day. So providing yours is clean and tidy you'll fit right in.

Detailing = money = misery = depression = drink = buckled = GOOD TIMES! :)

Been detailing non stop over the weekend ya ghey, showed the pic to Naith, he said it looks like someone from Salford has been round (lack of wheels) ;)

Edit; didn't know you were up, Paul ;)

Lets keep this on topic guys please.

ooops , sorry. Your question is pretty simple though. Either pay one of the guys near to you do have it done or do as ali says and get some autoglym srp and egp then wax it and itl look good:)

I answered your question, based on your interests/car & time! If you'd bothered to scan the other 101 threads on beginners detailer you'd collate a fairly in depth answer!!

Hai faive team.

AS Paul has said Laura, you are best of with the SRP EGP combo. You could pay anything from 85-200 quid for paint correction and even more for a full detail. So up to you :)
