and i feel really stupid for this, but where is the starter motor in my car?

i know its near the gearbox, but i cant see it in my car, i have no idea!!!

ive looked in my haynes manual but it hasnt got a clear shot of where it is situates in ma motor!

on mine yeah, 16v, its undernearth ur exhuast manifold, undernearth that heat sheild below it.

fookin real hard to get to without removing the exhuast manifold n heat sheild!

might be easier going from undernearth??
