which clay?

Bare in mind i've never clayed a car before. Which should i go for?

Megs clay kit or the sonus one?

How many times can you clay the car with the kit? Can the bar be reused?

Megs quick clay is light and perfectly adequate for use on most daily cars. Over spray etc will not get touched, but people buy specifically for that.

Kit will last you a decent couple of times, but again, how long is a piece of string. If the car is covered in fall out or tar, it will not be as long lasting.

I use the megs stuff from Halfords, pretty good stuff IMO.

my car isnt covered to badly so should be ok. So you think the Megs quick clay kit is best? How come its quite a bit cheaper than the sonus one? Is sonus better

Bigger company, able to bring prices down. It is also more readily available.

No worries. Have fun when you get it. Follow the instructions, give the car a proper wash, knead the clay well and keep a bucket of hot water with the clay in to keep it warm. Another good tip I read was to put a towel under the panel you are claying, then if you drop the clay you won't ruin it. Keep the panel lubed up very well and don't go in circular motions.
Finish off with a nice polish and wax, sorted!

not sure TBH, never used the clay magic one but the megs kit is pretty good
