Which laptop?

Im getting a laptop later for my birthday and not really looked at laptops or Pc's for ages so whats good at the moment?

Any recomendations for around £300-£500?

Laptop will be mainly used for doing work and accessing the internet i dont need something amazing and wont be playhing games on it.

Toshiba Satellite Pro are work horses if he's not gaming. Why not do it the other way round and get a mobile internet contract and getting a 'free' laptop with it. Best of both worlds

Cheers looks like ill be getting a dell 1545 as they seem to be the best spec and best looking for the price.

Matt black with gloss black interior or White with silver interior?
