Which side repeaters, dark or light?

Want ot replace the side repeaters on my mk1 172 as the current dark ones are turning yellow

Do I stick to dark ones (either smoked or crystal) or do I go for some clear/silver ones?

smoked defo. silver needs rear lexus chav lights and they still dont look right lol
