Janspeed, 200 cell I believe. And the quality is better than standard even though Fred 'Renaults favourite welding tea boy' Hopkins thinks it's poor ;)

LMAO!!!!!

yes they're welding isn't up to my high standards!!! ;)

i has to chuckle when i saw the "demo" stuff they had on their stand at Goodwood, they'd forgotten to weld half of it together!

I can't complain at mine, it was only £50 delivered though i'm sure I would go custom if I was buying new. At least I would know it was welded completely around its circumference.

What ever came/will come of the award you got from Renault mate? Slightly off topic, sorry.

Quality, looks like there'll be some pretty hi-tech mods available from Yoz for the 197 in the near future then?

RS26 conversion anyone? 'Only run 1 full race'.

Fred do you know anyone that can fit a sports cat to a 2004 DCi ??

My car went to ... *cough* ProSpeed *cough* and he wouldn't fit one as it was on the manifold or some s**t, he said I'd need a new manifold for a sportscat.

I have since heard that a lot of cats are hard to get to on Clios, but people still have sports cats and bypass pipes without new manis...

Any suggestions.

perhaps the dci is different but i got a sports cat from charlie on my 1.6

i'm sure he would have fitted it if he could

Perhaps, perhaps not.

We did get there very late (partying in Cardiff the night before and didn't wake up early). But he said he didn't want to try taking it off without being sure he could get it back on.

Ding, if you look under the car can you see the cat ?? I can't see it at all on my car.

  Polo + Micra
yeah if i look under the car you can see the cat.

it's a 100 cell doesn't need anymore to pass an mot

make sure there's no issues with fitting it o the exhaust you have i.e. from the cat back, some people have problems with their mix n match systems blowing from de-cats, if its a sports cat u may as well get it welded together I guess.

  Clio 172 mk2
Janspeed from Demon Tweeks with CS discount.

Fits fine and doesn't seem to cause any issues with the O2/emission lights:D

What gains have you found with the janspeed sport cat?
I've not had it RR'd since I fitted the cat but I managed 179 @ the fly before the cat. I would hope for low 180's with the cat and my other mods and nearer 190 when I fit ported inlets.
